My Story
My name is Janelle Fenski and I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 9 years. Prior to that, I was a nurse at OSF Children's Hospital in the Pediatric Intermediate Unit. I have a passion for wellness, self-care, aesthetics, and people! In early 2023 I decided, after a little convincing from co-workers of mine, to take the leap into aesthetics. I signed up for a training and certification program for injectables (neurotoxins and filler) at a very reputable and amazing med spa in Chicago, IL. I decided I would use this, as well as all of my medical knowledge to help patients look and feel their best. I am now a certified injector for cosmetic injectables, a certified weight loss provider, and I still maintain my board certification in family practice as well. Feeling beautiful/handsome/confident isn't just about how you look on the outside, but how you feel on the inside!

In January 2022, weighing 275 lbs, I started taking a GLP-1 medication. I lost over 100 lbs in a little over a year and have been maintaining. I had tried and failed many many things in the 25 years prior to this. Not too long into my journey insurance decided they were not going to cover any of the medications so I then started taking the compounded semaglutide instead, and thank goodness it worked just as amazingly and was wayyyyy less expensive. I am a certified medical weight loss provider through the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. I would love to not only share more of my story with you, but also help guide you on your way to a healthier and more confident you! I treat and support patients of all ages and both men and women!

Some other random info about me - I have 3 boys, 2 French bulldogs, a Great Dane, and a wonderful and supportive fiancé. When I opened the Confidence Studio last summer (2023) I was still working as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a local large health care organization, but I was able to resign in May of this year and focus solely on my solo practice! I have big plans for the future, but my goal is to always provide personalized, safe, well-educated, friendly, compassionate, and thorough, yet relaxed/comfortable care to all of you!
