  • What is a med spa?
    A medi spa is a hybrid between a medical clinic and a day spa that offers non-invasive or minimally invasive cosmetic treatments under the supervision of a licensed medical professional.
  • How do I choose a reputable med spa?
    You can research med spas in your area online, read reviews from previous customers, and check the credentials of the medical professionals who work at the spa.
  • Is it safe to get treatments at a med spa?
    Yes, as long as you choose a reputable med spa that is staffed by licensed medical professionals and uses FDA-approved equipment and products.
  • What services are offered?
    Our medical weight loss clinic offers nutritional counseling, exercise guidance, and prescription weight loss medications including semaglutide, tirzepatide, phentermine, Bella, Lipo-Mino injections AKA "skinny shots", and more.
  • Are there any extra fees?
    When purchasing a weight loss plan with semaglutide or tirzepatide there are no extra fees. The price includes the medication, supplies, follow ups, and communication/support in between.
  • What is a medical weight loss clinic?
    A medical weight loss clinic is a facility that provides medical supervision and support for patients who are trying to lose weight.
  • What is the cost of medical weight loss clinic services?
    The cost of medical weight loss varies and at our clinic ranges from $150 per month to $500 per month depending on the medication and plan chosen.
  • How does semaglutide work?
    Semaglutide is a once weekly injection. It is a GLP-1 medication that slows gastric emptying, makes you feel full longer and faster. It also works in the brain to help block the receptors of the satisfaction center so you feel satisfied with very little food and cravings are reduced. It also helps hormone regulation and insulin regulation in the pancreas and liver leading to more efficient metabolism.
  • What is Bella?
    Bella is a daily oral weight loss medication that is a mixture of phentermine, topiramate, bupropion, naltrexone, and B12.
  • What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
    Both medications are GLP-1's. Tirzepatide works on an additional hormone called the GIP. It has been proven to be more effective and although the side effect profile is the same as semaglutide, the side effects seem to be better tolerated.
  • How does Bella work?
    Each ingredient in this compounded oral medication works differently to assist with weight loss. Decreases appetite, gives a boost of energy, reduces cravings and the appeal of food, and boosts mood.
  • How do I know if medical weight loss is right for me?
    You may want to consider a medical weight loss clinic if you have a significant out of weight to lose, have tried unsuccessfully to lose weight on your own, or have health conditions related to obesity.
  • What areas can be treated with botox?
    Botox is most commonly used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (crow's feet).
  • How much does Botox cost?
    The cost of Botox varies depending on the location of the med spa, the number of areas being treated, and the amount of Botox used. On average, Botox treatments cost a few hundred dollars per area.
  • How long does it take for Botox to take effect?
    It can take up to a week for the full effect of Botox to be seen.
  • What brands of Botox (neurotoxins) do we offer?
    We offer Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, and Xeomin. I am happy to help you understand the differences and similarities between the different brands! and choose which one is best for you!
  • How many units are usually needed per area?
  • Are there any side effects of Botox?
    Common side effects of Botox include mild pain or bruising at the injection site, headache, and temporary dropping of the eyelid. Rarely, more serious side effects can occur.
  • How long does Botox last?
    The effects typically last 3-4 months, after which the treatment will need to be repeated. Since Botox can be preventative, you may notice that you do not need it redone as often after a few sessions.
  • What is a neurotoxin?
    Botulinum toxin type A is a neurotoxin that is used to temporarily relax the muscles that cause wrinkles and fine lines. This includes brands such as Botox and Dysport.
  • How is botox administered?
    Botox is injected into the targeted muscle using a very fine needle. The procedure is quick and typically does not require any anesthesia.
  • Is Botox permanent?
    No, Botox is not permanent. The effects of Botox typically last 3-4 months, sometimes up to 6 months.
  • Do you have financing available for Botox or other cosmetic procedures?
    Yes, check out the financing page for additional information. We have a couple different vendors you can choose from based on your credit rating and needs.
  • How long does filler last?
    Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the product and how the individual's body breaks down the filler.
  • What is filler?
    Filler is a cosmetic injectable substance that is used to add volume, fill in wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. It is primarily used to address signs of aging such as fine lines, deep wrinkles, thin lips, and sagging skin.
  • Is the procedure painful?
    I work very hard to make you as comfortable as possible and use topical as well as injected numbing medication. Although, there may be slight discomfort with the procedure, it is not painful.
  • How much does filler cost?
    At The Confidence Studio the regular price of filler is $650 per syringe. Each syringe is 1 mL. Depending on the areas you are looking to treat and the overall goal you want to achieve it can sometimes takes 2-7 syringes of filler for a full facial rejuvenation. The more syringes you purchase the more you save! We also offer payment plans with no fees!
  • What is filler made out of?
    The filler we use is made out of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance found in the body that helps maintain moisture and volume in the skin.
  • How many syringes of filler would I need?
    This can vary widely depending on the area and the achieved outcome. For lip filler I generally will only do one syringe at a time, sometimes even less to be cautious. For a full outer beauty lift (temples, cheeks, jawline, and chin) it typically takes 2-3 syringes, but this can also be done in stages.
