 Weight Loss Medications

Important Info

As someone who has struggled personally with being "obese" for over 30 years, I am passionate about seeing you succeed. I don't care whether you want to lose 20 lbs or 200 lbs I want to help you get there! The pricing information below may seem complicated, as I have things set up a little different than most other places. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Depending on dose and vial size, compounded medication such as semaglutide ranges from $150 - $400 per month, with the average maintenance dose costing approx $175 per month.

**Established patients - Over the last few weeks I have been considering the long term cost of certain medications for patients with chronic obesity  that may need to take the medication longer in order to reach their goal and/or maintain their goal once they reach it. I have adjusted my pricing structure in some ways to reflect this. If you are an ESTABLISHED patient here at the Confidence Studio and taking a GLP-1 medication, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide at a higher dose I have special pricing just for you!

Insurance coverage - At this time there are VERY few insurance companies/employers who are covering GLP-1 medications for weight loss. If your insurance company does cover Wegovy or Zepbound I am happy to do the required paperwork to get it approved, but call your insurance first and discuss this for more details. It sometimes takes very specific questions to get insurance to explain their requirements. Insurance companies say they cover the medication, but there are a lot of hoops to jump through. I am happy to try if we think you will meet the criteria. Also, insurance may cover Ozemic or Mounjaro and say they just require a prior auth. 99% of the time the requirements for Ozempic or Mounjaro are that you have to be an "uncontrolled" Type 2 Diabetic and also have already tried and failed all of the other generic options available.
